Dirty Rugs - “Two Sides”
They say there are two sides to every story and Seattle’s Dirty Rugs are no exception. Made up of two Cody’s and a set of twins, they blend a raw and gritty attitude with a feel-good, catchy radio-rock sound. With “two” being a consistent theme and re-occurring number throughout the band’s short history, their debut EP “Two Sides” mirrors its significance.
Comprised of raucous vocals, rowdy drums, dual guitars, and thumping bass, Dirty Rugs delivers a positive and refreshing record that reflects on days gone by, seizing the moment, and admitting one’s mistakes. The single, “I Got Your Moves”, is a statement that you’re just as good as anyone else and energetically kicks off an EP that is a modern day throwback to the 90’s and early 2000’s. The album was engineered, mixed and produced by Matt Bayles, whose previous work includes Minus the Bear, Mastodon, and The Sword.
